Democratic Rep. Claims 700 Billion People Will Lose Healthcare Coverage Under Trump

Don’t let them say Democrats are smarter.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) claims that 700 billion people will lose healthcare coverage if Obamacare is repealed and replaced.

Waters, who has recently become a leftist folk hero  loving called “Auntie Maxine” was being interviewed by Chris Hayes on MSNBC, talking about the Senate’s attempts to fix the nation’s healthcare woes.

“Well, that’s just not true,” said Waters, when Hayes asked whether it was possible to cut cots and increase coverage.

“Take, for example, the state of Kentucky,” she said. “Almost one-third of those people in that state are covered by Medicaid, and so they’re talking about eliminating 700 billion [under] Trumpcare bill. And so that’s no way that they can say they’ll do more coverage than Obamacare, and so I don’t really know what they’re talking about.

The Congressional Budget Office claims 22 million people will lose their healthcare, voluntarily or involuntarily, if Obamacare is repealed. That’s nowhere near 700 billion—which is far more than the number of humans that have ever existed in the history of the world.
