Senator Al Franken is the newest democrat to be exposed for sexual misconduct.
If you are not aware, Franken has been outed for his sexual assault of a female news reporter in 2006. He had allegedly forced himself on her sexually while she was asleep and is reported to have forcibly stuck his tongue down her mouth. The victim’s name is Leeann Tweeden.
Since the incident, Franken has responded saying:
“I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann,”
“As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it.”
Last time we checked, groping women while they were asleep is no laughing matter.
