In a recent exclusive, Post Millenial investigated a tragic rape story. The victim, a 12-year-old girl, was assaulted and violated in October 2021 by a transgender classmate in her school bathroom in New Mexico. She was neglected by her school, along with several of her peers. This awful incident is the latest consequence of gender ideology, which has unsafely infiltrated school districts in the United States.
The young girl, who Post Millenial pseudonymised “Ray,” said she is used to sharing the bathroom with boys because of ASK Academy’s gender identity policies. She said she was too afraid to approach the school board because she thought she would be labeled a “bigot.”
Ray also refused to tell her mother about the incident. She told “Maggie” (also a pseudonym) that her new symptoms of depression were from being bullied at school. Apparently, when Maggie complained, the administration accused Maggie’s parenting instead of attempting to rectify the problem.
Ray, who developed trauma and suicidal tendencies from the incident, spoke about the hypocrisy of gender politics: “By them saying the only thing that matters is how they feel and not how I feel, is very selfish of them. If they want their own bathroom, then gladly get your own bathroom. If you want your own sports, get your own sports. If you want to be included, be included in your own way that doesn’t cause danger to everyone else.”
Two of Ray’s peers spoke up when she did and confessed that they were assaulted by the same student. Maggie said they learned assault was frequent in the high school section of ASK: “We have learned that sexual harassment and assault was a commonly trending issue among the high school students at ASK Academy.”
This kind of thing really is a parent’s worst nightmare. And it is the latest tragedy in a history of recent violent events.
In Loudoun County, Virginia, a young “gender-fluid” man sexually assaulted his classmates in a girls’ bathroom. The school district ignored complaints from a concerned father about its transgender policies and made little effort to prosecute the perpetrator despite known past accusations made against him.
Last fall, a transgender student in Oklahoma beat up his female peer in a women’s bathroom. This past April, another transgender student in California fought two of his female peers. A female student complained to the school board that he had a habit of showing his genitals in women’s locker rooms and bathrooms. Another transgender student flashed four freshman girls in their locker room after a swim class in Wisconsin.
The list goes on. These stories are dangerous and hardly infrequent.
If schools are forcing students to comply with pro-transgender policies, and this has caused increasing social pressure from peers, how many more children have been victims of assault but are afraid to speak out?
How can the National Rights Campaign declare a state of emergency for LGBT people when current gender ideology is so powerful it can be used to justify rape? Rape is a sign of true oppression. Legislation that lets parents know about their child’s drastic decisions and promotes fairness in sports is quite the opposite of oppression.
We should be wary of school policies that promote “gender inclusion” when that promise is not extended to everyone.
