Republican Senator Chuck Grassley revealed a bombshell FBI informant file on Thursday that could potentially reveal how President Joe Biden received a $10 million bribe.
According to the FBI document, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of energy company Burisma Holdings, felt “coerced” into making the payment to the Biden family.
Of course, as is often the case, the allegation is yet to be confirmed.
The document, released with some redactions this week, is labeled “unclassified” and was dated June 30, 2020. The filing describes a meeting in late 2015 or 2016 during which an unnamed source, referred to as “CHS,” met with Burisma officials. Along with Oleksandr Ostapenko, CHS reportedly traveled to Ukraine and visited Burisma’s offices roughly 20 minutes from the center of Kyiv.
“The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Burisma’s interest in purchasing a US-based oil and gas business, for purposes of merging it with Burisma for purposes of conducting an IPO in the US,” the document reads. “Burisma was willing to purchase a US-based entity for $20-30 million.”
During the meeting, CHS was asked whether they were aware of who sat on the board of directors of the company. After responding “no,” CHS was advised that the board included the former President or Prime Minister of Poland, and the son of Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden.
Burisma Chief Financial Officer Vadim Pojarskii claimed that Burisma hired the former president or prime minister to “leverage his contacts in Europe” for prospective gas and oil deals. Pojarskii also revealed that Hunter Biden was hired to “protect” the company “through his dad, from all kinds of problems.”
According to the same document, CHS also alleged that Burisma officials described Hunter Biden as “not smart.”
The bombshell document could be undeniable proof that the FBI was aware of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, the fact that he was possibly engaging in influence peddling, and more shockingly, that President Joe Biden may have been aware of it.
Senator Grassley claimed on Thursday that the unnamed federal informant, a Ukrainian-American citizen who has served as a credible FBI source for more than a decade, had engaged in at least four conversations with Zlochevsky from the first meeting in Kyiv until a final phone call was conducted in 2019.
What Next for Joe Biden?
The Biden administration is yet to respond to the bombshell allegations – and the president may have real cause to be concerned.
According to Zlochevsky, at least 17 recordings of conversations exist between the Bidens and Burisma, two of which include President Joe Biden. Zlochevsky also alleges that “many text messages” exist which reveal the Bidens’ involvement in the alleged influence peddling scheme.
