Officers say it happened shortly before closing time at 11 p.m. on Thursday at the store on Byberry Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

Authorities were alerted when someone called to report a theft in progress at the Walmart.

Paramedics took the baby to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital for evaluation. Her condition is reported to be good.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is investigating the incident. They asked anyone with information on the suspects to call their tip line at at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or dial 911.
