I love a good omen from the gods. Almost simultaneously, the Empire State Building, The Washington Monument, and the Capitol Building were all struck by lightning, marking New Year’s Eve on an eventful 2024.

As if divine forces were trying to send a message, these cornerstones of US architecture felt the wrath. Of course, US Americans being what they are, they read into it all immediately. There was no way it could have been a coincidence. It was either a sign from above that the US was on the right path, or it was the beginning of the end.
There is a lot of rumor, speculation, and fear floating around the internet about it. The lightning strikes across the three buildings on New Year’s Eve were just the thing people needed to spice up their night.

New Year’s Eve Lightning Is Certainly An Omen, But Is It Bad Or Good?
The lightning strike that hit the Empire State Building, The Washington Monument, and the Capitol Building on New Year’s Eve was absolutely a sign. Nobody is debating that. But, is it an ill omen, or a well-wishing from Thor himself?
“This feels more like a ritualistic event, especially since New Year’s traces back to pagan traditions. Lightning hitting these major landmarks on such a symbolic night raises questions—what kind of energy or intentions could be behind this?” says one X user. They believe the New Year’s Eve Lightning strikes are of pagan origin. That’s not very patriotic of her.

Another X user goes right down the rabbit hole. They believe the New Year’s Eve lightning is a sign of change. “Was this an omen of what’s to come in 2025? Free energy? Weather Modification? What does it mean?”
Personally, I think it is deep-state weather manipulation in an effort to reanimate the dead presidents, using lightning, into a Frankensteins monster of a giga-president, who will take over the world in the name of US democracy.
