I regret to inform you that Our Lord Jesus Christ is being mocked once again.
This time it is by a Canadian ice cream chain called “Sweet Jesus,” which has recently opened in the US.
Adding to this insulting name, the company also uses Satanic imagery.
The first S in the word Jesus is a lightning strike as seen in rock bands like KISS, reminiscent of the Nazi style used by the SS, and the T in “SWEET” is often shown as an inverted Cross on the company’s various products.
The company tries to excuse itself with the following statement:
“Our name was created from the popular phrase that people use as an expression of enjoyment, surprise or disbelief. Our aim is not to offer commentary on anyone’s religion or belief systems. Our own organization is made up of amazing people that represent a wide range of cultural and religious beliefs.”

But you and I know better. This use of Our Lord’s name and the inverted Cross is not only irreverent. It is blasphemous!
And this is only the tip of the iceberg.
The website of the parent company, Monarch & Misfits, says Sweet Jesus is a restaurant specializing in “soft serve and beverages for sinners.” The same website claims “240 pimped out cones soft served every day.” One of the ice cream desserts is called “Oh Sweet Baby Jesus!”
