But after securing a key union endorsement this month, Biden will travel to Florida to hobnob with Miami elites at an event costing as much as $250,000 per head to attend.
Biden joined strikers on the picket line last year as the United Auto Workers conducted a major strike against Detroit firms, including Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis. Earlier this week, the UAW reciprocated his support, endorsing his 2024 presidential campaign.

A recent event invitation from the Biden Victory Fund that Just the News obtained invited would-be contributors to the Biden Victory Fund to a Jan. 30 reception with President Joe Biden in Miami, Fla., with admission starting at $3,300.
Designation as a “Friend” requires a $6,600 contribution. Champion designation requires $25,000. To join the National Finance Committee, the cost rises to $50,000. Co-Host status costs $100,000 while Co-Chair status costs $250,000.
Biden Victory Fund National Finance Chair Chris Korge organized the event.

The Coral Gables-based attorney has been a longtime fundraiser for Democratic causes, with his professional profile saying he has ” been extremely active politically for twenty-five years, including through service in numerous official capacities.”
