A Vladimir Putin blowhard in Russia, Yevgeny Popov, claimed that the Kremlin had nuclear missiles “lined up” to take out a list of seven Western capital cities.
Knewz.com has learned the allegations come amidst a string of threats following America’s announcement of its plans to deploy intermediate-range guided missiles in Germany.

“We have enough potential to contain these missiles. But the potential victims are the capitals of these states.”
“It’s not hard to guess the geography of the response if the White House‘s short press release becomes reality,” Popov quipped.
As he uttered these words a map of Europe along with a list of potential targets filled the screen to which Popov narrated: “Almost all European capitals are under threat.”
The depicted European capital cities included Paris in France, Berlin in Germany, Prague in the Czech Republic, Warsaw in Poland, Bucharest in Romania, Tallinn in Estonia, and Riga in Latvia.

Popov continued: “Special attention to Britain, our traditional enemy,” while the image on the screen marked the metropolitan centers of London (England’s capital), Manchester, and Birmingham and several military bases on the island territory.
“Britain is in the most vulnerable position. In principle, three missiles are enough, and this civilization will collapse,” Popov concluded.
Popov is not the first Putin blowhard to vent at the United States for its decision to plant missiles in Europe.
As noted, Kremlin mouthpiece Peskov followed up the decision by Germany and the U.S. with accusations that the latter was menacing Russia.
“The United States deployed such missiles, different types of missiles of different ranges, but always aimed at our country,” he told a reporter.

“Therefore, the repetition of history [like the collapse of the Soviet Union] in different configurations is inevitable.”
Knewz.com previously reported on Russia’s Washington ambassador, Anatoly Anatov, who shared his thoughts on the matter.
He said: “Washington is making a serious mistake. Such highly destabilizing steps directly threaten international security and strategic stability.”
“The Americans are increasing the risk of a missile arms race. Here, they forget that going the way of confrontation may set off an uncontrollable escalation amid the dangerous aggravation of tensions along the Russia-NATO track.”

U.S. officials became suspicious of Putin’s military industry and accused the country of violating the pact.
In 2019 the U.S. withdrew from the moratorium and Russia followed suit.
