Democrats just killed the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” proving they’ve learned exactly nothing from getting trounced in November.
The bill aimed to block biological men and boys from participating in sports competitions meant for female athletes; every single Dem senator voted against it Monday.

That’s the latest example of many of girls being forced to compete against trans opponents they have no chance of beating.
Biology doesn’t care how you identify; people born male tend to be bigger, stronger and faster, for a huge edge that makes a mockery of fair competition — and in contact sports poses real danger to other players.
Far too many girls have being injured in these uneven match-ups: Hiwassee Dam HS senior Payton McNabb testified to North Carolina lawmakers that she had to quit volleyball after a trans player spiked a ball into her face, leaving her with impaired vision and partial paralysis on the right side of her body.
The vast majority of voters, including Democrats, oppose the madness.

Dems should’ve listened.
Passing this bill would have been an easy, popular gimme that only hard-left activist types opposed, yet the party again deferred to the views of its most radical members.
The growing numbers of female athletes putting their feet down and calling for change are showing far more bravery and sense than the Democratic politicians who killed this bill.
