Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska’s look of horror after she was fatally stabbed on train — as her final moments are revealed

Slaughtered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska looked up at her killer with terror in her eyes after he repeatedly stabbed her with a pocket knife, as no passengers came immediately to her aid, disturbing newly-released surveillance footage shows.

Zarutska, who had come to the US in 2022 seeking safety after Russia invaded her country, pulls up her legs, which can be seen spattered with blood in the video.

She then falls to the floor about 15 seconds later, the video shows.

Another voice — believed to be that of a fellow passenger — then says “he got that white girl.”

The video shows multiple passengers looking shocked and confused, before a man in a gray hoodie stands up and follows Brown down the train, while a woman in red glances over at Zarutska before turning back and looking out the window.

Heroic passengers tried to perform CPR on the victim, as one man took his shirt off to dress her wound, WSOCTV reported.

A trail of blood was seen left behind by Brown as he walked down the train car before ripping off his hoodie.

Brown was seen watching Zarutska for some time after she sat down in a seat in front of him, before pulling out what appeared to be a pocket knife.

He was federally charged with one count of committing an act causing death on a mass transportation system, FBI Director Kash Patel said.

“The brutal attack on Iryna Zarutska on the Charlotte Light Rail was a disgraceful act that should never happen in America. The FBI jumped to assist in this investigation immediately to ensure justice is served, and the perpetrator is never released from jail to kill again,” Director Patel said in a statement.

“We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence — he will never again see the light of day as a free man,” Bondi said.

“We hope this federal charge will help bring her family a measure of justice and the courts will hold the subject charged in this horrific act accountable,” FBI Charlotte Special Agent in Charge, James C Barnacle Jr., said on Tuesday. “Everyone in this country deserves to go to work, to school, or just across town without fear of being attacked.”
