The interview took a darker turn as Homan addressed the rising tensions facing federal agents. He reported a staggering 8,000 percent increase in threats against ICE personnel, with physical assaults on officers jumping by 1,300 percent.
Homan attributed the volatile environment to the rhetoric of political leaders and stated that the Department of Justice, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, has adopted a zero-tolerance policy for obstruction.

He specifically referenced the conviction of a Milwaukee County judge for obstructing federal agents, using it as a cautionary tale for other officials. “Even if you’re a judge, there are consequences for violating the law,” he asserted.
Addressing the humanitarian aspect of enforcement, Homan pushed back against critics of the administration’s reunification efforts. He claimed the Trump administration has already located 129,000 of the estimated 300,000 children who went missing during the Biden years, a statistic he described as a fulfillment of a promise to the American people. He noted, however, that recent legal challenges have stalled efforts to reunite some children with parents who wish for them to be returned to their home countries, specifically Guatemala.
