Border Patrol video shows illegal crosser from Mexico shooting ‘multiple times at the border wall’

After illegally crossing into the United States from Mexico, an armed individual was caught on video “shooting several times toward the border wall” near San Luis, Arizona, early Thursday morning, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol reported.

Camera operators viewed five individuals standing on the west side of the border at about 2:55 a.m., the agency said, adding that the group had made its way east through the dry Colorado riverbed:

Later a truck arrived from Mexico and picked up all five individuals, CBP said, adding that the truck crossed back into Mexico and escaped on a highway before agents could respond.

The agency added that the international boundary along the Colorado River runs north-to-south with Mexico to the west and the United States to the east and that the border wall isn’t directly upon the international boundary.
