Mark Levin torches ‘the squad’ and their ‘venom’ for America and Israel

Conservative commentator Mark Levin delivered a fiery monologue against “the squad” of liberal minority congresswomen who have engaged in a fierce war of words with President Trump.

As the president faces backlash for telling these Democrats to “go back” to other countries, Levin said critics who are accusing Trump of racism have it backwards during a six-minute screed on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show.

Levin defended Trump, saying the president “did not talk about race. He did not talk about skin color. He did not talk about religion. He talked about them. The content, or lack thereof, of their character.”

He accused three members of the squad — Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan — of being “anti-Semite bigots” who also oppose Israel. Levin admitted he does not know Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts very well, and reserved his criticism for the other three. He blasted their support for the boycott, divest, and sanctions movement and said they have “no knowledge of history” with their “constant” references to Adolf Hitler, the Third Reich, and concentration camps regarding Trump’s policies.

Levin, who is Jewish, said their “venom for America is same as their venom for Israel,” claimed their families “have done nothing for this country,” and exclaimed the trio are engaged in an effort to “rip this country apart.”

Levin also blamed the media for “projecting” the “narrative of racism” on Trump.

In comparison, Levin said Trump “loves America” and has been the “greatest president that Israel has ever seen,” listing some of Trump’s accomplishments, such as moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Toward the end of his segment, which Hannity did not interrupt, Levin brought up the southern border and how Democrats and the media are now calling the situation a “crisis,” when before they scoffed at the Trump administration’s concern about illegal immigration as a “manufactured crisis.”

“They created the crisis. They created the lack of detention space. They created the lack of physical barriers, and now they blame the president, who tried to prevent it. The media have allowed this to happen. They are a disgrace,” Levin said. “They have a high tolerance for racism and anti-Semitism, why? Because they are the mouthpiece for the hard Left. This president is not a racist. This president is a patriot.”
