Donald Trump has used a racist slur to mock Elizabeth Warren after she looked set to lose her home state of Massachusetts.
As results came in on the evening of Super Tuesday, with Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders appearing to be set to collect the lion share of delegates, the president found time to mock Ms Warren, after she was projected to fail to even win her home state.
“Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, other than Mini Mike, was the loser of the night. She didn’t even come close to winning her home state of Massachusetts,” Mr Trump wrote.
“Well, now she can just sit back with her husband and have a nice cold beer.”
The president has frequently been criticised for using the word to refer to the Democratic senator from Massachusetts, mocking her over her claim to have native ancestry.
The National Congress of American Indians has previously condemned Mr Trump for using the term.
Last month used the while addressing guests at the White House marking American American History Month.
Reports said Trump and talked about a rally Ms Warren held where the crowd was smaller than at one he held.
He referred to the 70-year-old Democratic hopeful as “Pocahontas”, the report said.
On Tuesday evening, Mr Biden looked set to win Massachusetts, according to projections, with Mr Sanders coming second.
Earlier Mr Trump had fired an insult directly at Mr Bloomberg.
“The biggest loser tonight, by far, is Mini Mike Bloomberg. His “political” consultants took him for a ride,” he wrote.
“$700 million washed down the drain, and he got nothing for it but the nickname Mini Mike, and the complete destruction of his reputation. Way to go Mike!”
