Construction laborer films teen girls showering in home as he worked, Illinois cops say

A construction worker is accused of filming and photographing teenage girls and a woman while they showered, Illinois police say.

Jose Gaspar, 45, was charged Wednesday with unauthorized videotaping in Hinsdale, a suburb of Chicago, according to prosecutors.

Gaspar was hired to work on the house in November, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. He took dozens of photos and videos of the homeowner’s 15-year-old and 22-year-old daughters, as well as another 16-year-old girl, police said.

Gaspar was caught when an acquaintance learned about the photos and videos and told the family, police said.

“The allegations against Mr. Gaspar are extremely disturbing,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said in a news release. “Fortunately, his alleged actions were uncovered and he now finds himself facing felony charges.”

Gaspar was in jail on $150,000 bond.
