Man disemboweled after asking group why they were looking at him in the Bronx

A 28-year-old man who just wanted to know why a group of people in the Bronx were eyeing him aggressively was disemboweled for his troubles when one of the goons slashed him in the stomach, police and sources said.

The man walked up to a group at Washington Avenue and East 167th Street in Morrisania around 1 a.m. and asked them why they were looking at him, police said. That’s when someone in the group pulled out an unknown object and stabbed the man in the lower abdomen, causing his intestines to spill out, police and sources said.

He stumbled over to a nearby firehouse, where 911 was called, cops said.

The eviscerated man, whose identity wasn’t released, was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, cops said.
