Man punches subway rider after hurling ‘anti-white’ remarks: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A subway passenger punched another man in the face after making “anti-white” remarks, the NYPD said Friday.

The 36-year-old victim was riding a northbound 2 train in Manhattan around 5:20 p.m. on May 14 when another passenger began directing “anti-white statements” toward him, police said.

The passenger then punched the 36-year-old in the face before exiting the train at 125th Street in Harlem, the NYPD said.

The attack left the 36-year-old with minor injuries, police said. The man who attacked him hadn’t been arrested as of Friday afternoon, the NYPD said.
