Woman blocks dog walker’s path, hits her with bottle in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman pushed past a dog walker and stopped her from entering a building before striking her with a bottle in an apparently unprovoked attack on a Brooklyn street, new video shows.

The NYPD released the video Tuesday as they search for the woman seen attacking the 32-year-old victim with a bottle at Bushwick and Myrtle Avenues in Bushwick on the morning of July 12.

The victim was walking her dog and opening a door to a building on Bushwick Avenue around 9:30 a.m. when a woman pushed past her and slammed the door shut, police said.The attacker then struck the victim in the shoulder with a bottle, video shows.There’s no indication the two were involved in any dispute before the assault.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene, while the suspect fled northbound on Bushwick Avenue, police said.
