During a press conference discussing the disappointing jobs report released for February of 2023, Joe Biden took a moment to laugh at Republican attempts to stop his hiring of 87k new IRS agents.
Biden claimed to be ‘surprised’ that Republicans do not want an expansion of the IRS, stating that Republicans ‘wanna make sure we don’t have enough IRS agents’.
In 2021, the IRS used a mere 78,661 employees. Biden wants to more than double that number, and accuse anybody who opposes it as ‘wanting to make sure we don’t have enough IRS agents’.
Biden claimed that the new agents would be ‘looking into the accounts of the super wealthy’ as he whispered into the microphone.
The President began to laugh, then finishing by saying ‘they wanna get rid of them’ with a grin.
This comes as Biden has just proposed $2 Trillion in tax increases for Americans, all while inflation continues to burden the Nation.
Increased taxes during a poor economic time like this will only spell disaster for the future of our economy.
It doesn’t seem to bother Biden, who as we reported today, has been claiming that he has actually lowered inflation over the last seven months.
Just as Biden fumbles with and manipulates the economic numbers, claiming record ‘deficit cuts’ after expiration of COVID relief. he is making a mockery of these numbers as well.
When he entered office, inflation sat under 1.5%. It now sits at over 6%.
A doubling of the IRS workforce is certainly not only for the wealthy. These new agents will be the enforcers of Biden’s new taxes. It is disgusting in every way.
The Republican House has already passed a bill to end the hiring of the 87k IRS agents. The bill has not been passed in the Senate, where Democrats hold a slim majority.
