‘Book bans’ are ‘castrating’ children, but actual castration is ‘gender-affirming care’

If you do not follow the logic of the transgender activist movement, Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD) has offered a clear explainer: Banning pornographic books from middle schools is “castrating” children while actually castrating children is “gender-affirming care.”

Moore, a Democrat, told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki that banning LGBT and racial propaganda books from children’s classrooms is “about making kids feel uncomfortable.” According to him, “It’s about telling other kids that they shouldn’t understand their own power,” and “it’s castrating them.”

The Democratic debate about “book bans” is filled with rank dishonesty, so this is no surprise. Most of the books actually being banned from schools contain sexually explicit images and are being marketed as appropriate for children as young as 10. There was no debate about putting pornographic books into schools, but now, removing them is a five-alarm fire for Democrats.

In other cases, the books being “banned” have not been banned at all. When Amanda Gorman’s poem from President Joe Biden’s inauguration was deemed to be middle-school level reading, it was moved to the middle-school section of a school library. This was deemed as a book ban by establishment media. Evidently, you are “castrating” children when you move a book from one shelf to another in the same school library.

What is not “castrating” children, according to Moore and other Democrats, is actual castration. Democrats have decided that preparing children for sex changes if they express any questions or concerns about their bodies is “gender-affirming care” and must be mandatory. Children as young as 2 are to begin the process of “social transitions” followed by being placed on irreversible puberty blockers and hormone replacements.

Then, they are to be surgically altered, even before they become adults, in the case of girls undergoing double mastectomies. They become permanently disfigured through surgeries that are designed to recreate the genitalia of the opposite sex. The surgeries usually can’t be reversed, and they lead to a whole host of new health problems, including sterility and infertility.

That is literally, definitionally, “castration,” yet we are told that it is necessary “healthcare” for gender-confused children or children who even have the slightest problems with their bodies during puberty. Book bans, whether they be justified or completely fabricated, are the real castration of children, according to Moore.

Therefore, you must show your children extremely sexually explicit LGBT books and agree to pump them full of chemicals and put them under the knife before their 18th birthday. Anything less would be “castrating” them.
