George Soros helped codify abortion into Ohio’s state constitution

Much was made of the resounding pro-abortion rights victory in Ohio on Tuesday by people on both sides of the political aisle. Many saw it as proof that most people support the legality of ending the lives of children in the womb. Given the results of the election, it’s hard to argue otherwise. However, just because it is hard to argue, it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be argued. It also doesn’t mean pro-life politics should be abandoned by conservative politicians.

Yes, it’s true. The abortion crowd defeated those who wanted to protect the lives of children in the womb. However, they also had an unfair advantage — money. In particular, the money of George Soros. The same person who funded radical, rogue district attorneys nationwide who implemented criminal justice reform policies that kept murderers on the streets and out of jail also funded organizations that fight to murder the unborn.

Consider the pro-abortion rights donations in Ohio. One group that supports abortion access, Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights, raised over $28 million in contributions, according to reports. Of that total, $3.5 million was a contribution from Soros’s Open Society Policy Center. It was the “single largest contribution” to the group, according to reports.

But this wasn’t the first time Soros tried to influence abortion politics in the country. Last year, when Michigan voted on Proposal 3, the state’s ballot measure to determine whether or not to legalize abortion, Soros donated $4.5 million. The Left’s strategy is simple: If Soros funds propaganda to sway public opinion, voters will come.

The Open Society Policy Center wasn’t the only left-wing activist group that poured millions of dollars into shaping Ohio’s constitution. The Democrats’ usual suspects, such as the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood, gave millions, as did other well-known left-wing financiers such as the Fairness Project and the Arabella Advisors, multiple outlets reported. Pro-abortion rights groups have significantly outraised groups looking to protect the lives of innocent children in the womb.

Additionally, most of the contributions given to support the right to have an abortion in the Buckeye State have come from groups and people outside of Ohio, just like Soros’s donation. Groups that support the right for Ohioans to exterminate the lives of children in the womb have outraised pro-life efforts by a ratio of 3 to 1, reports revealed.

{snip}

Politicians, pundits, the “experts,” and Republicans who already raised the white flag and retreated on being pro-life, were incorrect. Foreign left-wing billionaires and special interest groups donated large sums of money to control the minds of people. Votes to get abortion legalized in Ohio and other states were essentially already bought and paid for through propaganda by people like Soros.

Abortion isn’t a losing issue for the GOP. It’s an “outfinanced” one.
