Billboard depicting the migrant attack on cops goes up in Times Square

A conservative group is funding a Manhattan billboard depicting the migrants who beat up New York Police Department officers last month, hoping to heap pressure on the Biden administration over its border policies.

The billboard from the Job Creators Network features a video of the incident in Times Square, which went viral last month and fueled the raging debate about how to secure U.S. borders.

“Hey Joe! If cops aren’t safe because of your open borders, nobody is,” the headline on the billboard reads.

It directs people to a website, SecureOurBordersNow.com, where people can sign a petition urging President Biden to crack down.

Two co-defendants have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Mr. Biden and Democratic leaders say Republicans had the chance to secure the border via a sprawling national security bill that also would have provided aid to Ukraine and Israel.

Republican senators blocked the bill, saying it appeared too weak on the border portion and would be dead on arrival in the House.

“President Biden needs to stop playing political games with the southern border,” said Elaine Parker, chief spokeswoman for the Job Creators Network. “The administration already has the authority and resources it needs to act.”
