She highlighted growing disillusionment across racial lines, noting: “It’s not just white people who are disillusioned, it’s black people as well. They’re saying, ‘what have you done for us?'”
“They have done nothing,” Gorka added, pointing to what she described as “the decline of the Black Lives Matter brand.”
Recent events appear to support Gorka’s assessment. In Manhattan, a jury acquitted US Marine Corps veteran Daniel Penny of charges related to the death of Jordan Neely on the subway.
The verdict prompted strong reactions from Black Lives Matter leaders. Walter “Hawk” Newsome, co-founder of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, declared outside the courthouse: “We need some black vigilantes… People want to jump up and choke us and kill us for being loud, how about we do the same when they attempt to oppress us?”

Despite BLM’s apparent decline, some British universities continue to promote related initiatives.
A recent review by academics at the universities of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent has criticised “racially unbalanced” curriculums.
The review called for degree courses to move away from focusing on the “undertakings of white people.”

Critics suggest these university initiatives are outdated, describing them as “a panicked middle-class response to the Black Lives Matter protests of summer 2020.”
Despite BLM’s waning influence, Gorka warned that similar activist movements are gaining momentum on university campuses.

“At the same time that we’ve seen this steady decline in Black Lives Matter, we’ve seen the rise of pro-Palestinian groups on campuses, and they’re getting a lot of money,” Gorka said.
“I think that piece of it is not finished,” she concluded.
