Heart-stopping video shows moment Calif. cop screams, ‘Don’t shoot me’ after suspect stole her gun — before her partner opens fire

Dramatic body camera footage shows the moment a police officer begs for her life after a deranged half-naked suspect stole her gun moments before a fatal shooting in California.

In the disturbing video, the unidentified officer is heard pleading, “Please don’t shoot me!” following the confrontation with 26-year-old Osean McClintock in Fountain Valley, Orange County.

Earlier in the same video, McClintock is first confronted by another officer who was called to reports of someone trying to get into an occupied car near Kazuo Masuda Middle School on Jan. 24.

At first, the pair has a calm conversation, as McClintock is seen on a grassy median.

“OK. We’ll figure that out. Just take a seat for me,” the officer replies, before asking, “What’s wrong? You’ve got no shirt on.”

But after being asked again by the officer to take a seat in the squad car, McClintock’s behavior suddenly switches.

“I don’t have to,” he snaps, before the officer replies, “Yes, you do.”

After a few minutes of searching the lot, the cop’s partner spots McClintock fighting with the officer and begins sprinting toward the pair.

“She’s in a fight. Code 3,” he says, signifying an emergency response.

The officer approaches McClintock, who at this point has wrestled the female officer’s gun from her hands.

The male officer fires 10 shots in total at McClintock, who slumps over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.

McClintock died at the scene, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Fountain Valley Police Department, which are both investigating the shooting.

No officers were injured in the incident.

McClintock’s family has started a GoFundMe to raise money for a funeral for him

McClintock had reportedly lost two close relatives in the months leading up to his death and struggled from various health issues, including hemophilia, joint swelling and muscle bleeds.

“Osean was able to handle a lot of pain but sometimes it was too much for him,” the appeal continues, describing McClintock as “a Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, and a Servant of God.”
