Pam Bondi issues 7-word warning after ‘unforgivable’ Palm Springs IVF clinic bombing

US Attorney General Pam Bondi has denounced a deadly car explosion at a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California as “unforgivable” after investigators revealed the blast was intentional.

One person was found dead following the car explosion that heavily damaged the American Reproductive Centers fertility clinic on Saturday morning.

Bondi said federal agents were on the ground responding alongside local law enforcement.

Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills said the blast “appears to be an intentional act of violence.” He said several buildings were damaged in the incident.

Authorities said it was unclear how or whether the person found dead was linked to the blast. Their identity was not known.

The FBI said it was sending bomb technicians to the scene. Residents were being urged to avoid the area around North Indian Canyon Drive.

Video footage showed a burned-out car in a parking lot behind the clinic. Photos shared on social media showed smoke billowing from the building.

The blast reportedly damaged the fertility clinic’s office space, but the IVF lab and all of the stored embryos there were not destroyed.

“I really have no clue what happened,” Abdallah told The Associated Press. “Thank God today happened to be a day that we have no patients.”
