Here’s What We Know About ICE Shooter Joshua Jahn

Joshua Jahn, the 29-year-old identified as the gunman who opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, was raised by a left-leaning mother and previously held jobs where he installed solar panels and picked marijuana, a Daily Wire review found.

While an investigation into the incident is still ongoing, the shooter allegedly left bullet casings engraved with the phrase “ANTI-ICE” on them that revealed the “ideological motive” behind the attack, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed on X.

The suspect’s brother, Noah Jahn, told NBC News that he didn’t think the alleged shooter “was politically interested” and described him as “unique.”

“He didn’t have strong feelings about ICE as far as I knew,” Noah said.

The alleged attacker was unemployed at the time of the shooting and had plans to move into his parents’ home in Oklahoma, Noah told NBC. His previous jobs included installing solar panels and picking marijuana, according to his LinkedIn.

Joshua grew up in Allen, Texas, and was a Boy Scout when he was younger, Noah told NBC.

Joshua’s mother, Sharon Jahn, previously ranted on social media against Republican lawmakers in Texas for supporting the Second Amendment.

She added: “Do you secretly sit in front of a tv and smile a demented smile? You must be proud of all the money that sits in your bank accounts from the gun lobby support. Was it worth it, Governor Abbott? How about you senators?”

“Here is my hope: May you be reminded of the deaths every time you spend that precious blood money you have received from the gun lobby. Hope you think of it 100% when you attend the NRA meeting in a few days.”

“Senator Cornyn, I realize you suddenly had something in DC come up where you won’t be attending. It’s unfortunate you don’t even have the spine to stand up to the NRA and tell them the real reason you aren’t attending. You are a coward, a spineless coward.”

And just a day before the latest shooting, the man who tried to assassinate President Donald Trump was found guilty in a Florida court.

In recent years, radical left groups such as the Socialist Rifle Association have been linked to numerous violent attacks, including a July 4 ambush against the ICE facility in Alvarado, located outside of Dallas.
