Here’s what Ted Cruz is missing out on in Cancun.

The Texas senator’s family was happily soaking up the Mexican sun Friday — without him — after leaving the Lone Star State, where millions experienced power outages and record freezing temperatures during a deadly winter storm, exclusive photos show.

Cruz’s wife, Heidi, was seen on the sand wearing a red bikini under blue beach umbrellas, video and photos obtained by The Post show.

Cruz cut his trip short by two days and returned to Houston Thursday night after receiving backlash from constituents and colleagues for leaving his state while millions of Texans remained in the dark.

The Republican senator at first blamed the trip on his daughters, saying he was only chaperoning them to Mexico.

But after arriving in the US, he conceded to reporters the getaway was “obviously a mistake and in hindsight I wouldn’t have done it.”

Heidi Cruz reportedly bragged about the couple’s Cancun trip saying in a text chain that they were looking to escape the “FREEZING” weather, according to leaked text messages obtained by the local news outlet Reform Austin.

The winter storm has claimed the lives of more than 30 people across the state.
