Is the Devon Archer Letter the Smoking Gun That Brings Down Joe Biden? – It could be argued months before former President Donald Trump took office in January 2017, Democrats were already looking for a way to bring him down.
From the chants of college students of “not my president” even as the polls in the West had only just closed on Election Day, to the congressional lawmakers who quickly labeled Trump an “illegitimate president” it was clear there would be any and all attempts to remove him from office.

As the saying goes, “Just because you are paranoid, doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get you” – but in this case, it could be flipped to “just because there are seemingly unwarranted investigations, didn’t mean you didn’t do something wrong!” In the case of Joe Biden, there has largely been speculation that he was involved in something shady, namely the business dealings of his troubled son Hunter Biden. However, the evidence has largely been lacking.

A letter from then-Vice President Joe Biden to Hunter Biden’s former friend and business partner, Devon Archer, could be the smoking gun – at least according to some in the GOP ranks.
In a widely discussed 2011 letter, which Fox News Digital has also obtained, Biden thanked Archer for attending an event where he hosted then-Chinese President Hu Jintao.
“I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday,” Biden wrote to Archer. “I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu. I hope I get a chance to see you again soon with Hunter. I hope you enjoyed the lunch. Thanks for coming.”

“Remember, two and a half years ago, we had a former business partner, [Tony] Bobulinski, say that the email from the laptop … said ‘10% for the big guy,’” Jordan told Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum last Thursday.
“He says, ‘the big guy is Joe Biden.’ We have the piece of evidence you just talked about there – this note from 2011. We have the WhatsApp messages.”

Last week, Archer shared the letter with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and the two discussed its contents on Carlson’s “Tucker on Twitter” social media program. In the nearly 12-minute-long interview, which has been seen nearly 32 million times, Carlson asked, “What was [Joe Biden] thanking you for?”
“First of all, it’s a lovely letter,” Archer answered.”“Listen, it was kind of the beginning of our partnership and he was thanking me and thanking Hunter, I think, at the end of the day for bringing this idea of this government-regulatory-strategic-advisory business into the private equity world. And I think he was excited for the prospects for Hunter and he was just thanking [me], and I think it was a nice gesture.”

“I think I hit the jackpot in finding the regulatory environment or company that can navigate right to the top,” Archer explained. “But, you know, obviously, as time has told, being a little bit too close to the sun ends up burning you.”
“These are not business guys,” Carlson then added. “This is the vice president of the United States. He’s not allowed to be working on businesses with foreign governments while he’s vice president, I don’t think.”
Connecting the Dots on Joe Biden…
As The New York Post also reported last week, three months after the luncheon, in April 2011, Hunter Biden and Archer traveled to China and Taiwan — where they met with reps from firms including state-owned China Life Insurance Company and the China Investment Corporation sovereign wealth fund.
The timing does seem suspect, but the letter also made no mention of actual business. Dots are being connected – but we just don’t know what picture they may show. It would seem that Hunter Biden at least sold the illusion of access to his father, but whether it was more than that has yet to be proven.
