A man in Tennessee has been charged with murder after fatally shooting his neighbor for asking him to clean up his dog’s poop in their shared yard.
The shooting occurred on December 23 in Knoxville as officers responded to an emergency call regarding a shooting. Police found that an unnamed man had been shot at least once, and he was pronounced dead as a result of the shooting.
According to a Knoxville Police Department (KPD) arrest warrant obtained by WATE-TV, the victim had gotten into an argument with his neighbor, Stefen White, when he asked White to pick up his dog’s poop from the yard the two shared.

White has been charged with second-degree murder and has been booked into the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.
