New video exposes Secret Service’s ‘clear view’ of Trump shooter’s position: Report

A new video appears to show that the U.S. Secret Service had a “clear view” of the roof would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks used in his assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

Sharing the video on X, formerly Twitter, Breaking 911 wrote, “Video shows Secret Service perch at Trump’s Butler rally had full view of the roof where the shooter carried out assassination attempt.”

In response to the new video, one social media user wrote, “The Secret Service really dropped the ball on this one!” Another user tweeted, “Inside job. Every secret service member and their families should all be arrested.” A third social media user said, “I’m to the point they didn’t just allow it, they were in on it.”

Last week, U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle gave a shocking reason in response to widespread questioning over why a Secret Service agent was not positioned on top of the warehouse roof that Crooks used to shoot the former president, kill a retired fire chief, and severely injure two other individuals at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In an interview with ABC News, Cheatle claimed that the warehouse building, which was located less than 150 yards away from the stage where Trump addressed his supporters, was believed to be a risky position for an agent to be stationed.

The Secret Service director added, “And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.”
