A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to placing a hidden camera in the bathroom of his girlfriend’s teenage daughters. Unbeknownst to the girls or their mother, the camera was hidden for two years, constantly recording them in varying degrees of undress.
Eventually, the mother sensed that something was off, leading to a months-long investigation into the man’s actions. The hidden camera was discovered, with police making an even more shocking discovery.

Dutton had placed a hidden camera in the bathroom of his then-girlfriend’s teenage daughters, without their knowledge. He was filming the girls undressing and showering.
The girlfriend became suspicious of Dutton after he “insisted [the girls] either not have a shower curtain in their common bathroom, or they have a clear curtain,” officials said. She then discovered an odd looking USB charger plugged into an outlet in the bathroom.
According to multiple reports, she inspected the USB and discovered a camera or lens inside, pointing toward the shower. She unplugged it, but left it in the bathroom.
After she unplugged the device, Dutton “entered the bathroom and stayed inside for an unusually long time.” When he left the bathroom, the DA claimed, the device was “gone.”

Fox 29 Philadelphia reported that police found videos of the girls undressing and showering from February 2021 to March 2023, on Dutton’s phone. A search of his iCloud account uncovered another 261 audio and video files of both girls either fully or partially nude in the bathroom. Investigators also found methamphetamine in the home during the search.
In addition to the invasion of privacy counts, Dutton pleaded guilty to two counts of interception of oral communications, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. Sentencing will happen at a later date.
