Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett called Jimmy Kimmel “craven and cowardly” during an appearance on Fox Business Wednesday.
Kimmel returned to the air Tuesday without apologizing for the comments that led ABC to suspend his show following backlash over his remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination. In an appearance on “The Evening Edit,” Jarrett didn’t mince words in his takedown of Kimmel.

Jarrett said the ABC host deliberately spread falsehoods and refused to take responsibility.
“It’s exactly what he did. He clearly conveyed by his words a week ago, when he falsely claimed that the killer was part of the, quote, MAGA gang. It was untrue then. It’s untrue now. He continues to exploit his powerful perch to mislead the public without a scintilla of regret, which is, in my opinion, craven and cowardly,” Jarrett said. “What Kimmel lacks, I think, his moral decency, compassion, conscience — not to mention honesty — and, you know, I was pleased to see people today calling him out for his charade of deceptions. They should continue.”

Before Kimmel’s Sept. 15 episode, Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox detailed evidence from the manhunt for the accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, during a Sept. 12 press conference and appearances on ABC’s “This Week” and CNN’s “State of the Union.” Multiple outlets also reported that Robinson embraced a “leftist” ideology, with left-wing slogans etched onto his rifle’s ammunition.
