In a post to X on Saturday, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said it is time to use the full force of legitimate state power to dismantle the growing scourge of left-wing terrorism.
Miller’s urgent warning seemingly came in response to a shocking ambush on federal agents in Illinois early Saturday morning.

One assailant, a woman armed with a semi-automatic gun, had posted chilling online threats to “f-ck up” ICE agents, complete with doxxing and calls for violence.
Federal officers fired in self-defense, wounding her, but the chaos didn’t end there. Chicago Police, under the thumb of far-left Governor JB Pritzker, abandoned the scene and refused to help secure it as an angry mob gathered.

This Illinois nightmare is not an isolated incident., it’s part of a terrifying surge in left-wing extremism that’s flipped the script on domestic terrorism in 2025. According to data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), leftist political attacks have outpaced right wing ones for the first time in decades
CSIS found:
“More contentious politics in the United States and the expansion of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement appear to have reenergized violent left-wing extremists. The left-wing movement as a whole has not returned to its violent heights of the 1960s and 1970s, but the number of terrorist incidents involving left-wing extremists so far this year puts 2025 on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades. Moreover, 2025 marks the first time in more than 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber those from the far right.”

Take the assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk last month at Utah Valley University. The Turning Point USA founder was gunned down during an event, sending shockwaves through the MAGA movement. President Trump swiftly labeled Antifa a domestic terror group in response, vowing probes into leftist funders like George Soros.
Just days later, in Dallas, Texas, an Antifa-aligned extremist opened fire at an ICE facility, engraving “Anti-ICE” on bullet casings in a twisted message of hate. Three people were shot in this horrific attack, which appeared to be part of a broader wave of assaults on immigration enforcement.
In July, an ambush took place at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. A dozen black-clad radicals in tactical gear detonated fireworks, spray-painted anti-ICE graffiti, and fired AR-style rifles at officers. A police officer was wounded in the neck, and 14 suspects, including alleged shooter Benjamin Hanil Song, now face federal charges including attempted murder.

These aren’t protests. They are acts of war shielded by Democrat enablers who tie law enforcement’s hands.
