US border city at ‘breaking point’ as Biden faces largest ever influx of migrants

A US border city is reportedly at “breaking point” after being overwhelmed by a vast number of migrant arrivals.

More than 2,000 people a day are entering the US and claiming asylum, leaving authorities in El Paso struggling to keep pace with the massive influx of people.

The Texan city of Eagle Pass was forced to declare an emergency after more than 8,000 arrived in just one week.

“The city of El Paso only has so many resources and we have come to… a breaking point right now,” El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser said.

To stem the tide, Leeser has chartered buses to take migrants to sanctuary cities such as New York, Chicago and Denver.

Leeser claims the migrants being sent from El Paso on buses were going voluntarily to cities of their choice.

“I think it’s really important to note that we have a broken immigration system,” Leeser said

“It’s the same thing over and over again.”

The comments come after Biden came under fire for failing to get the migrant crisis under control.

“Today the Biden Admin CUT that wire, opening the floodgates to illegal immigrants.”

“I immediately deployed more Texas National Guard to repel illegal crossings & install more razor wire.”

Abbott added: “I officially declared an invasion at our border because of Biden’s policies.

“We deployed the Texas National Guard, DPS & local law enforcement.

“We are building a border wall, razor wire & marine barriers. We are also repelling migrants.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott tore into Biden over the migrant crisis

“Now people are comparing it to a third world city. It isn’t but compared to what it used to be, it’s a disaster.”
