If you pay enough attention to college football, you see a lot of really, really stupid stuff.
Take, for example, Florida State posting a photoshopped image of Martin Luther King doing a tomahawk chop on its official social media pages.
Yeah, that happened.

Sounds normal, right?
That is, until you find out exactly what that trivia question was.
Which, apparently, was “what country was Adolf Hitler born in?”
Michigan State’s scoreboard operator then proceeded to post a gigantic picture of Hitler on the scoreboard while revealing the answer.
Somebody explain the context behind this for me pic.twitter.com/NnFszUR5Jl

The responses on Twitter, of course, were what you would expect.
“Next media time out they’re going to do a “did you know” about his art school application, aren’t they,” one person wrote.
“We need a trivia question to show during the game, what do you think? Maybe a question about a Michigan State player or team from the past? I know! How about Hitler,” said another.
Others took a less humorous view.
“Seriously the score board operator needs to be fired,” @jshore12 tweeted.
{snip}
What exactly they could say to explain the imagine, we’re not exactly sure. But given everything else that has gone on with the Michigan State program this season, this is just par for the course.
Oh, and things aren’t going any better on the field.
The Wolverines lead the Spartans 21-0 late in the first half.
