State Farm, an insurance company, has allegedly recruited agents to give out LGBTQ-themed handouts among 5-year-olds, according to an internal email that a whistleblower provided to Consumers’ Research, a non-profit organization, which slammed the insurance giant as “a creepy neighbor”. The internal email was sent by State Farm corporate responsibility analyst Jose Soto. It urges Florida agents to take action and provide LGBTQ+ books to children.
“State Farm is partnering with The Gender Cool Project to help diversify classrooms, community centers, and library bookshelves with a collection of books to help bring clarity and understanding to the national conversation about Being Transgender, Inclusive and Non-Binary. The project’s goal is to increase the representation of LGBTQ+ books and support our communities in having challenging, important, and empowering conversations with children aged 5+,” Soto wrote. “Agents are key to the success of this program. Nationwide, approximately 550 State Farm agents and employees will have the opportunity to donate this 3-book bundle to their local teacher, community center, or library of their choice”, he further wrote. Soto further explained that he wanted to find six Florida State Farm agents to participate in the project. “This is a fantastic way to give back and an easy project that will help us support the LGBTQ+ community and make the world around us better,” Soto wrote.

Who owns State Farm?
Headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois, the insurance company is owned by Michael L Tipsord. The insurance company was founded in 1922 by George J Mecherle and today, State Farm has become a leading company in the insurance industry that has served the public for 100 years.
However, the company seems to be focused on other aspects besides insurance and is being highly criticized for its inappropriate move of circulating LGBTQ-themed handbooks among children. According to State Farm, participation in the project was completely voluntary. “Kindness and respect are expected in all our interactions and extended to everyone we do business with across all segments of society,” State Farm said. “We embrace diversity and inclusion because it’s the right thing to do. We work with a variety of organizations and causes that express their own unique views, and support civil and open dialogue on challenging topics”.
In an interview with Fox News, Will Hild, Executive Director of Consumers’ Research, said it was imperative to expose State Farm so parents can safeguard their children from being subjected to such material. “State Farm looks to be targeting five-year-olds, kindergartners, in fact, in the public schools for inappropriate discussions around sexual identity,” Hild said. “We want to call them out for that activity and to notify parents and customers of State Farm’s activity, so they can hopefully get them to cut it out. But at the very least, make sure that their kids were not approached by State Farm on these issues”, he added.
Will Hill tweeted about State Farm’s partnership with The Gender Cool Project and also shared the screenshots of the leaked emails. Hill wrote, “Emails leaked to @ConsumersFirst from concerned @StateFarm employees show the company engaged in the woke indoctrination of kids aged over five. State Farm partnered with The GenderCool Project — which aims to have conversations with children about being Transgender and Non-Binary”.

He further tweeted, “This gross and blatant attempt to indoctrinate our children by @StateFarm is shameless and consumers should be aware a company founded on family values is now encouraging five-year-old children to question their gender. And we have the receipts” and shared a video titled “Like a Creepy Neighbor,” that shamed the company’s slogan, “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there”.
Hild further shared photos of the books and wrote, “@StateFarm’s goal was to have “550 agents and employees” nationwide donate a 3-book bundle about Being Transgender, Inclusive and Non-Binary to their “local teacher, community center or library of their choice.” We’ve obtained screenshots of the books and…it’s bad.”

The aim of the books is simple: woke indoctrination of children — a process which @StateFarm is actively engaged in.

Consumers’ Research has previously launched campaigns against other companies, including BlackRock, Levi’s, and American Express. After the news broke, State Farm emailed employees, announcing they would no longer be participating in the GenderCool program. State Farm had also been in controversy last year for backing unvaccinated Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, despite NFL’s strict inoculation mandate.
